We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Solar Installer. In this role, you will be responsible for installing solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about renewable energy and wants to make a positive impact on the environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and excute wire pull
- Strip wire cleanly without “rings” or knicks
- Wire junction box, AC disconnect, production meter
- Install and align rails according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Cut and splice rails to manufacturer’s specifications
- Install stand-offs and flashing to manufacturer’s specifications
- Wire management- properly dress and secure cabling
- Ensure trunk cable is properly terminated and watertight
- Ensure proper electrical connection in MLPE circuit or string
- Install, align, and wire mange modules
- Ensure end and mid-clamps and properly seated and torqued
Schedule:
- 8 hours shifts
- morning
- Overtime when needed
